Yes, this is fake! But… it might have been awesome! Wonder Woman is often seen as a supporting character in most DC storylines and it would have been nice to see her brought to the attention of movie goers. Some people criticize the character for being a bit dated, but a character is only as good as the writer currently on the story.
I visited the Gmail blog yesterday and stumbled upon an interesting post regarding adding a Google Calendar and Google Docs gadget to your Gmail. I’m not that big a fan of Google Docs but Google Calendar is something I use on a daily basis.

These features are part of Gmail Labs, and the Calendar gadget shows you a simple agenda and even alerts you when you have a meeting. Handy stuff! I receive a text message X minutes before a meeting in my calendar, but hey, the more reminders the better
You can also add any gadget by pasting the URL of its XML file to make it show up in your left navigation panel.
I also saw that apparently a few bugs in Google Chrome have been fixed on the 30th of October, and I will be sure to check out the detailed list sometime.

So… I solved my first Rubik’s Cube last night! It took some time, but it was something I’ve always wanted to do yet I never went to the trouble of actually trying. I think once you’ve done it, it’s almost like riding a bicycle? I’ll get back to you on that one.

While I have no aspirations of going into speedcubing, once I solved it I went online to check the various methods people use and if my method was close to being one of the most efficient ways of solving the cube. Turns out that is a NO. But a crazy Dutch dude called Erik Akkersdijk (born 1989) holds the record for solving a Rubik’s Cube. 7.08 seconds for a standard 3×3x3 cube. That’s messed up.
A nifty new Gmail Labs feature was launched a while ago, called Mail Goggles. Ever sent an e-mail in the wee hours of the morning only to regret it the moment you wake up? Or perhaps you had a tad too much to drink and while a little fogged up you typed away obscenities to your boss…

Because Google is… well, Google, they launched Mail Goggles to make sure you are thinking clearly before doing these things by putting you up against a few very simple math questions. By default it is only activated late at night on Fridays and Saturdays, but you can adjust it according to your boozing schedule or perhaps before you start tackling an irritating little project for someone. You can also adjust the difficulty of the math, just in case a long workday wasn’t quite long enough to hamper your mad maths skills.
How cool will it be if you imbed this in your Google phone to put a filter on your late night calling sprees?
